Our room(s) was beautifully decorated, well thought out, clean and spacious, with lovely views over the gardens.
The children were made to feel incredibly welcome and enjoyed using the pool and spa.
The onsen is particularly special, magical even. And such a treat.
Breakfast was delicious and set us up well for the day ahead.
We loved it so much we are thinking of changing our travel plans to be able to stay on our way back north through France!

Idyllic experience!!
The castle and its park are beautiful, the park allows to take a very nice walk, from the Japanese garden to the aviaries.
(On the other hand, parrots talk, which can be confusing). There's even a Saint Bernard who wants to hug!
On the leisure side, the tennis court is very nice, there are plenty of activities offered in self-service (bicycle, boules, gym).
The pool is very nice, with its daily access to the Onsen (very hot bath), and all the facilities are sublime and very intimate.
The dining area is very nice, you can have tea, coffee, buy on site or bring a meal that you can eat indoors, or all around the park that is set up for.
For breakfast, sweet and savoury are served in the magnificent rooms of the castle, next to the music room and its piano at disposal.
Finally, a big thank you to the team whose warm welcome and great kindness perfected everything!
In short superb stay, magical place, and awesome service!

Great stay
Everything was spotless: the room was very clean, the bed comfortable, with a real plus for the balcony if you choose the Vayolette room. The atmosphere of the place is warm, with a concept that really gives the impression of being “at home”. We particularly enjoyed the possibility of cooking, storing our groceries in the refrigerator, as well as the coffee/tea machine always available.
Many thanks to Thibaud for his availability and kindness, as well as to the person who prepared our room. This stay was a real pleasure.
