Dirty uncomfortable rooms
Hotel 2 stars Not 4 as advertised. Poor service no restaurant hall only for breakfast.
Dirty rooms and common areas . No refrigerator in room .
TV has no international channels no respect for tourists expectations .
Twin beds are smaller than usual and uncomfortable.
Never again returning there.

Bad location
The hotel is located about 4 kms outside the city centre next to a grotty housing estate. There are frequent buses into the town centre from just around the corner. A taxi back cost 13.50 Euro.
The room was very basic and well worn. Not a good budget option.
The staff were friendly and helpful but that is the only positive thing that I can say.
The town itself is worth visiting but watch out for dog poo. It’s everywhere!

Quite far from the center
We spent 14 euros total for a taxi to get there from the SNCF station.
We booked through booking.com, and it ended up what we had is just
reservation itself, which means the hotel choose the rooms for us as soon
as we arrived, so it took a while for us to checked in.
The check in desk is just near the kitchen, and we borrowed several
utensils from them.
The room is small and the wall is thin(not a big deal to me since I always put
on ear plugs while sleeping). But they provide us with towels, soap, liquid soap and a fixed "hairdryer"!
The bus station is near the hotel (3 min walk), and it takes 10 - 15 min to the city center.

Must be somewhere better
We are well used to staying in bargain hotels, but this is not one I would recommend.
It was hard to find, and the area didn't look particularly safe, set among residential tower blocks, rather than a commercial area which is more usual for these bargain hotel chains. There was an extra charge to park in the secure car park, which we paid. it was the only hotel in France out of 12 that we stayed in this summer that charged extra for secure parking.
The room was the same standard as most of these type of hotels. The only good thing about it was a proper bathroom (not a fibre-glass inset) with a proper shower cubicle. The bed was ok, but the pillows were tiny and only 1 each. There is nowhere to eat in the area.
When we went for breakfast at about 8am, the room was closed up. We spoke to one lady who had been waiting an hour and had been unable to find any one to ask about it. She ended up leaving without breakfast. We went to our room to pack and do the same, but found breakfast being served when we came back down, but no explanation or apology.
We were glad this was just a one night stop over. The total bill for one night, parking and breakfast was 57.50 Euros, so not even as cheap as some. Breakfast at 6.50 euros was one of the most expensive we encountered.

Malgré Accueil agréable
Malgré un accueil très agréable. Chambre vieillotte. Salle de bain horrible, moisissure sur porte vitrée de la douche. Porte salle de douche cassée ne fermant pas. Aucune insonorisation j entendais mon voisin ronfler. Lorsque le couloir commun était allumée la lumière pénétrait dans la chambre par l encadrement de la porte. Ainsi que les odeurs de bouffe qui arrivaient par la bouche d aération. Travaux de peinture certainement pas terminés depuis ..... quelques mois voir peut être années ! Emplacement pas terrible.
