Great for unexpected last minute stay at Coca for an early flight. It’s less than 8 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the bus stop and 5 minutes to the jetty for the boats. The staff were helpful in getting me a taxi and making sure I got breakfast before I left.

Terrible Experience
While the room was ok (small, simple but clean) the service was awful from start to finish: when we arrived and got of the car with all our luggage and stuff the hotel door was closed, and nobody was there to let us in for about 20 minutes, a very unpleasant start especially when standing in the middle of the street with all your things and traveling with children. The bad experience ended with receiving our cooling pads the next morning without having been put in the freezer as we had asked for (in Spanish!) - unfortunateley we needed these to cool our medication for this day´s trip into the jungle, causing us huge trouble to find a solution (the hotel staff was of no help). After our return from the jungle we stayed at another place in Coca, less expensive, nicer room and much better service: Hotel Heliconias

Pretty Grim
This was by far the worst hotel of the 10 or so I have stayed at in Ecuador. The building needs to be refurbished. Don’t get a room at the front of the hotel. Very noisy and the AC did not work. We switched to the back where the AC worked, but there was no hot water during the day. The hotel did not provide drinking water. Everything looked sad and grubby.
On the plus side, the staff were all very nice
Coca is experiencing an oil boom. The hotel was full of oil workers when we visited.
Definitely not good value for money.
We were told this is the best hotel in town. I recommend that you skip Coca altogether. You won’t miss much. It is not necessary to stay there before or after an Amazon lodge trip. Work with the lodge to ensure they coordinate your flights.

A place to sleep
Nothing more than this, old and with wearout apperance. I will not recomend unless isn’t another choice. The price, $50/night us expensive for what you get. Not too much to say about need to use the imagination.

Good Hotel
Good location in the center of downtown coca near the park (could be a little noisy in the room but it didn't bother me or keep me awake). I stayed in the basic cabana room it was good and clean. The restaurant had great food. The hotel is very big and has a lot of rooms. I thought the price was a little expensive compared to other places I have stayed in Ecuador, but the price seemed to be on point when compared to other places in Coca. My room seemed to be on the boundary of wifi reception which led to some issues, but wifi work well when i was more in range.
