Pleasant stay.

This a very nice place, and a beautiful layout.
If you stay here, here’s what you’ll get:
A warm welcome.
A clean room and facility.
A spacious room.
Plenty of hot water with good pressure.
Good WiFi.
A deck from which you can sit enjoy a beer and watch the tide roll in and out.
A quiet place. The only noise I heard at night was the waves crashing on the beach.
Close proximity to the beach.
Walking distance to Canoa.
Access to cold beer.
Friendly staff.
Our room did not share a wall with another room.
A big jug of water in the room with glasses. That was nice to have.
There was no a/c in our room, but we didn’t need it. We slept with front window slightly open and this kept the room at a comfortable temperature. There were two fans, with one being a ceiling fan. We didn’t use either.
Complaints: One is very minor. There’s no night stands next to the bed. Not that they are necessary, just nice to have. I mean what do I do with my reading glasses.But there were electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. Electrical outlets can be an issue in some locations in Ecuador. The other, the price of breakfast was excessive. $15 each for trigillio, coffee and orange juice. I’d be surprised if you couldn’t walk into town and get the same for half that price. I know I can in Quito. The bottom line is I’ll probably be a repeat customer, but I’ll walk to town for breakfast.

Spacious, spotless with impeccable care in service & attention to detail

An oasis of calm at the far end of Canoa Beach. Spacious, spotless accommodation, impeccable food & service, fantastic facilities including free yoga 3 mornings a week with the wonderful owners, Maija & Pete whose care & impeccable attention to detail shine through. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic

Stayed two nights Oct 15,16. Amazing location right on the beach with the sound of the ocean. The rooms were big and very clean. I loved all the wood. The view from the upper front rooms was spectacular. Arrived late on the first night, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious.

Great location

These rooms are huge. Spacious and there is air conditioning. Beautiful grounds with hammocks to lounge on. The restaurant is very good also. Short walk to town but perfect if you like the quiet rather than the bustle of town.

Can I get another day here?

This was a stop on our self-guided motorcycle tour of Ecuador. We arrived after a long day in the saddle and the spacious room and giant shower were a welcome feature. The owner greeted us in the parking lot and got us settled in right away. The setting for the small restaurant is incredible with an awesome view of the ocean. Like every place we stayed in Ecuador, the food was way above expectations. I had the absolute best Huevos Rancheros ever in my life for breakfast. I wish we had scheduled an additional day here. Ziggy, the house parrot, asked me to come back!
