Nice hotel in quiet surroundings

We stayed at the hotel Traneparken in connection with a visit to Jesperhus Flower Park. We showed in advance that the reception is unmanned. It was easy to get the key out of the box and find a room. The hotel is fine and there is super clean everywhere. There is plenty of space and several places you can sit and relax,both indoors and outdoors. There's a nice playroom, and an honesty bar. However, I would like the opportunity to make a cup of tea or coffee.
The room we got was pretty big, nice and clean, and with the things you expect there should be. It was really quiet.
I think the breakfast buffet was excellent, suitable for the price level. So we'd love to come back another time.

Super staff

Self service hotel. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Very responsive to our needs. Very good atmosphere.

It's a building that is adapted from something else (medical, old are I do not know) into a hotel.

A disappointment

Hotelflair = 0. It is an institution without any kind of service. The key is in a key box outside the house. There is no bar, not even a minibar or at least a small refrigerator in the room. There is a large slot machine in foyeen where you can withdraw some drinks and pay the next morning to the staff. But there is no staff. Ice-cold bathroom floor and no heat in the bathroom. The breakfast is very spartan, just the most necessary. For us the stay (2 nights) was a big disappointment, the price and the service do not match at all. A real hotel inside the city costs less. We're not coming again.

Stay to 5 stars

We were 2 couples who had a perfect stay at Hotel Traneparken after a visit to the new SMK, Thy.
The rooms were large, bright and there was what we needed.
The common areas were cozy and we used them diligently.
There stood tapas and wine ready for us in the kitchen, good food and good wine.
Kenneth was welcoming and told kindly about the place.
Good service and good breakfast.
We say thanks (also for two go’ coffee) and will be happy to come back.
