Redeeming Points left me with a bad taste but would return to see the Bartender!
But the real surprise of the stay happened when my wife and I headed down to the bar for a quick drink. We weren’t there for food, so we grabbed two seats at the bar and settled in. What we didn’t expect was a full on bartending behind the scenes experience.
I don’t know a thing about bartending, but watching this young woman work was impressive. Drinks were flying out of there, each one made with care, precision, and a vibe that really made you appreciate bartending. You could tell her coworkers loved being on shift with her — her energy was contagious.
Before we left, I told her how impressive she was, and she shared a bit about how she got into the industry. Honestly, her story was just as good as the drinks.
So, to the young lady behind the bar: it wasn’t the free Wi Fi, the comfy pillows, or even the perfectly mixed drinks that made our stay memorable — it was you. And yes… the pink hair was pretty cool too.
