One night stay with no complaints

Stayed here one night before going for a work conference. Room was small (to be expected as this hotel was originally built many years ago). But it was clean and I found the bed & pillows to be comfortable. You can’t beat the location, and you have a grocery & liquor store right next door. Bartender downstairs made us sangrias even though they weren’t on the drink menu.

Nice place to stay. Easily accessible and located near to everything in Jasper within a couple of minutes walk. Room was a little small, but that’s what we picked. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

Friendly staff if a little basic.

We stayed here before boarding the Rocky Mountaineer. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is centrally located - it’s 10 minutes to the other end of the Main Street. Rooms are basic but the hotel does have a hot tub and pool. You can use the laundry facilities in the sister hotel (Marmot) a 10 minute walk away. Noise from other rooms and the road can disturb light sleepers but earplugs are supplied.

Bad Experience

Good location. Not brand new hotel as it is about 8 years old. 2nd night, the hotel aircon suddenly give out a loud noise and try to call front desk but no one pick up the phone. Could not sleep. We have to report to them the next morning for them to repair the aircon. Housekeeping service - have to remind them to make up the room
