The apartment is so clean and the design is perfect. So quiet and loving the ambiance and all. Perfect for couple and families to stay. Free parking and very close to surfers paradise. The area wasn't noisy at all and you will enjoy your stay. Excellent!

Serain Residences are Corrupt
Do not use this Asian Company.
They are corrupt.
We had multiple issues with them and they would just deny every claim and make us to out be stupid.

***DODGY AVOID BOOKING THROUGH SERAIN Residences and Booking #107 Ruby on Norfolk AT ALL COSTS!!!
I booked a water view apartment at Ruby on Norfolk late Wed eve 24 Sept 2025 for 2 nights for $801.25 from the lovely pictures on Booking.com only to find out the apartment was managed by a separate company ‘Serain Residences’ who subsequently have a horrid reputation & reviews.
We were then instructed to pick up the key from an entirely different location far from the complex where there was nowhere to park or pull up nearby. This process not only proved difficult&unclear having to ring up for instructions, but also in very unsafe&dirty conditions.
Upon arriving at the complex, there were no instructions for the carpark or entrance which proved not only very difficult to navigate, but also very dirty & unsafe with no security, no idea what level or where to park in the limited spaces available which turned out to be a very long inconvenient walk to where we were staying. We then discovered our apartment was actually a ‘party villa’ that sleeps around 14 people with the bedding provided and was on the ground floor outside the secured building with a broken unlockable unsafe entrance door where anyone could get in!
Inside there was 3 sets of stairs which were not pictured not to mention impossible for my 87yr old asthmatic elderly Mother, there was NO view or nice furnishings as pictured, only marks, gouges, holes, burns, rust, broken blinds & furniture. It was filthy dirty & stunk of dust, smoke, damp, moisture & mould, definitely NOT WHAT WE BOOKED so we left immediately & cancelled the booking!
I rang & the lady insisted we not return the key & go back & take photos of the problems & damage as proof & email them&wait for a resolution, so I did as requested in order to get our refund.I just followed the instructions given then waited&kept contacting them.
It was left in exactly the same state as when we arrived,no different! It still needs to be thoroughly cleaned, &have the holes & gashes in the walls plastered & the walls painted, the carpets cleaned, the blinds replaced, the broken doors fixed & the furniture replaced, but despite everything, 3 days on I’m still emailing and calling Serain Residences and they still refuse to give me the refund Im entitled to!

Rough Ruby
The room was totally different from the photos it felt like a dingy hotel room. We had damaged walls that had dodgy repairs, a damaged bed that sagged to one side as well as it felt very cheap and nasty, almost impossible to have a decent sleep. Upon entering the room, we noticed splatters all over the bedroom blinds and walls, which we complained about, and they came and cleaned it after i asked for my money to be returned and i wanted to leave. The lounge room blind has no chain to lower it, so it had to stay open. There was a second microwave on the bench as the mounted one was broken. All the kitchenware was all missed matched. I know that isn't a big deal, but it's just not a great look to have almost every cup , plate , bowl, and knives and forks not be the same. The drain in the shower was broken, and you had to be careful not to stand on it as it flipped up and your foot goes in the drain.
You get hit with a $300 deposit the night before you arrive aswell as the keys are collected from a dingy shop front down in Surfers Paradise from what seams like a vending machine about a 15min walk from the hotel. You have no contact with anyone from the hotel. it's all self check in and out. The reception is run by a different company (Cllix).
All in all, it was a very disappointing uncomfortable stay, and this would not be on my return list.

Worst service I ever had on the Gold Coast!
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, email coming last minute!
Did not say there was a $300 bond on the booking website! Ask for an early checking they did not care of my request! Go to the hotel then realise the key needed to be picked up at another place!
Sent information just an hour before the 3:00 pm checking while I’ve asked for checking at 12:00! The worst service I’ve ever had on the Gold Coast!
