Nice hotel in Monolithos and a good base to explore the surroundings.
I was at Thomas Hotel one night and one day at the end of May 2025. It is a nice and clean hotel just tucked in the centre of Monolithos. It is not immediately visible from the main road, but Monolithos is a small village and therefore it should not be a problem to find the facility.
The owner is very kind and proactive and let me stay in the main lounge after the check-out for several hours while waiting for the taxi that drove me to the airport. The rooms was cozy, the bathroom was clean, Wifi and TV worked well, the hotel main lounge was likeable, the breakfast was good and abundant. Prices (I paid separately for the breakfast) were right. I definitely advice to choose Hotel Thomas you need to stay in the zone of Rhodes where Monolithos is located.

Excellent!
George (the Owner) is a wonderful, friendly and very smiling person! She served us kindly and the rooms cleaned them every day!! I strongly recommend it!

We spent one night here in a large room with mini kitchen. The room are old style, but nice and clean.
George, the owner is really nice and very accommodating. He served us a perfect with local products like yoghurt, honey and eggs.
Just perfect. :-)

Very Special Hotel
This is a hotel that you will return to year after year. Many guests have been coming back each year for many many years. You will see why after your first stay. I usually stay at 5 star hotels but the simplicity, charm, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality at the Thomas hotel outshine any other place I’ve ever stayed in. The owner , George, will welcome you as family and you feel at home and cared for. This may not be the Ritz in Paris but I guarantee you that you will never find the hospitality and friendliness anywhere else. Oh, did I mention the VIEW !!!!!!!!

A glorious winter stay in South Rhodes
This is a great value hotel of the good old times. Most of the infrastructure is dated but well-functioning. Most importantly it has new window frames with double glazing providing excellent insulation- something very important for winter stays and lacking in most accommodation in Rhodes. Air-condition heating is efficient, there is plenty of hot water and internet is fast. It is very clean and also has mosquito shields in the balcony. In a nutshell it has all you need for a comfortable stay, even in winter, for a very reasonable price.
I was given a 1st floor room with a spacious balcony and a breathtaking view overlooking an almost pristine mountain slope and the Aegean Sea. I was lucky enough to have exceptionally warm weather but even on a rainy day it would be great to stay indoors and look at the landscape.
Just two points that I would like to highlight. It is a bit difficult to find the hotel as google map is misleading. Also the village has very narrow and edgy streets anδ driving is a bit stressful. Maybe it would be a good idea to leave your car in the main road and go walking to the hotel.
All in all, this hotel was a very fortunate surprise and made my winter sτay in the paradisiac part of Rhodes exceptional.
